TiM is a permissions-based system, which means that what you can see and access in your account can vary from other TiM users, depending on the Permissions set for each user when they are invited to a project.
Therefore, your dashboard may look different than your coworker's, even if you're both connected to the same project.
For example, a Producer who needs to hire employees and approve startwork will be able to see and click into more features from their project dashboard than, say, a Best Boy invited to that same project.
A Best Boy's project dashboard may look like this:
A Producer's project dashboard may look like this:
Some employees, such as Department Heads, may need to assist administrators with the onboarding process. Those people can be granted a limited set of permissions, to be able to see and access only necessary features.
Access to Crew Management
People granted permissions to Verify i-9s or invite other employees will be able to see and access an area called Crew Management.
If you are granted the verify i-9 permission, you will be able to see a red "Verify i-9" button next to the name of any employee whose i-9 needs to be verified, and will be able to click into that button in order to verify the i-9.
If you are granted permission to invite other employees, you will be able to see and click the "Invite Crewmember" button, which will lead you to fill out the Employee Invite screen.
Permission to invite other employees also allows you to adjust Permissions for employees via the orange and white eye icon.
In Crew Management, you will also see the startwork status column on the far right. The status column allows you to track employee startwork from invite to full approval.
- "Invite Sent" or "Invite Received" (startwork is not submitted yet)
- "Submitted, approval pending" or "This I-9 needs to be Verified!" (startwork is submitted but not approved)
- [checkmark] (startwork is fully approved)
'View only' Approval Pipeline
People who do not need to approve startwork, but want to keep track of how onboarding is going, can be granted permission to only view the Approval Pipeline. They will be able to click into the Approval Pipeline from their project dashboard, and their view of the Approval Pipeline will look like this:
