For statuses "Invite Sent on [date], waiting for employee", or "I-9 submitted, packet not submitted" (Startwork is not submitted yet):
If Startwork has not been submitted yet, follow the instructions below to edit employment information:
- From Crew Management, click "edit" next to the name of the employee. This will bring you to that employee's Employment Details.
- Make necessary changes to the Employment Details.
- At the bottom of the screen, click "Save & Update Employment Details". This will send the employee a fresh Invite with the updated details.
NOTE: If the employee opened their original Invite, they will receive an email notification that the Employment Details were edited. If the Invite was sent but the employee never opened it, the employment information will be updated but a notification will not be sent out.
NOTE: If the word "edit" is grayed out, that means the employee has already completed and submitted their Startwork packet (see below).
For the status "Packet submitted, pending approval" (Startwork is submitted but not approved):
If the Startwork has been submitted and approval is still pending, see: An employee submitted startwork, but it's wrong. How do I edit it?
For the status "Packet approved" (Startwork is Fully Approved)
If Startwork has been Fully Approved, the packet cannot be edited nor can it be "shredded".
If the approved packet contains incorrect information, you can initiate a Job Change to share an additional packet (a Job Change Packet) with the employee so the correct information is on record. Once the revised Job Change packet is submitted, both packets will exist in the Approval Pipeline.
NOTE: If the packet is Fully Approved, and you try removing an employee from a production, it will not "shred" their original packet. Removing an employee from a production only removes that employee's access to that Project within TiM.
