Duplicating Special Packets in TiM is a great shortcut if you need to create a new type of packet that's almost exactly like another. Simply copy the packet, then use the duplicate as a base to create your new packet!
NOTE: Only Special Packets can be duplicated via the "Copy" button in Startwork Templates.
If you want to duplicate a Standard Packet, you'll need to create a Special Packet and insert the Standard Packet Template into the Builder (see instructions below).
How to duplicate a Special Packet:
- From Startwork Templates (or the Company Library if you're working at the Company level), click the "Special Packets" tab.
- To the right of each Special Packet's name, you'll see a "Copy" button. Click this button to duplicate the packet.
- After a moment, the duplicate packet will appear.
NOTE: When the packet is duplicated, the default name of the packet will be "[Original Packet Name] (copy)".
- Click "Edit" to edit the packet in the Builder.
