If your I-9 is pending verification in TIM, you will see the following message within your TiM Account:
Select "Click here to see who can verify your I-9" to see a list of the people on the Project who are able to verify your I-9 within TiM.
To allow your I-9 to be verified, you will need to show your valid ID documents to the verifier so they can complete Section 2 of your I-9.
The most common forms of documentation are a Driver's License and Social Security Card presented together, or a U.S. Passport. Click here for a complete list of acceptable documentation.
According to the USCIS, an employer cannot dictate which of those documents an employee may provide for verification.
FYI: Per changes made due to COVID-19, I-9s can now be verified remotely, using scans or photos of ID documents. You can upload your ID documents from "My Documents."
