Note: The option to "change packet" is available in Crew Management up until the employee submits their Startwork. If the employee has already submitted their Startwork, please see: Correcting Startwork after it's been submitted
If you realize that an employee was matched to a Standard Packet, but they should have received a Special Packet, you can use the "change packet" function in Crew Management to rematch the employee to the proper packet.
If an employee was matched to a Special Packet, but they should have received a Standard Packet, you can use the "change packet" function in Crew Management to rematch the employee to the default Standard Packet.
You can also use the "change packet" function to switch the type of Special Packet the employee needs to receive.
- From Crew Management, select "change packet." A pop up will appear.
- Depending on the change you want to make, select or de-select the checkbox next to "Do not match employee to a Standard Packet." A drop down will appear.
- From the drop down, select the packet you want to share.
- Click "Update."
- In Crew Management, you will see the packet name appear next to the employee's name.
Note: Special Packets will only appear on this drop down if they are Published. If a Special Packet is marked to "Hide from Inviters," it will only be available to share for people with Edit: Startwork Templates Permissions. The selection to hide a Special Packet can be made from Startwork Templates > Special Packets.
Note: The option to "change packet" is only available for Projects created after 11.18.2018. If you do not see "change packet" it is because your Project is operating under older functionality. Contact setup@hellotim.com if you'd like to recreate your Project to utilize the latest functionality.
