Viewing Permissions are filter controls that can show or hide specific pages within packets, based on an employee's Employment Details or a user's personal information selections.
Viewing Permissions are helpful because they allow you to compile more forms into fewer packets, so there are less packets overall to maintain.
For more information about the types of Viewing Permissions and how they are controlled, see: Viewing Permissions in Detail

Here is a common scenario that exemplifies how Viewing Permissions work:
Your SAG employees need to receive the same payroll and government forms as non-SAG crew, but they need a SAG contract instead of the Crew Deal Memo.
Instead of building a whole separate packet specific to SAG employees where the only difference is a single form, you can insert both the SAG contract and Crew Deal Memo into your Standard Union Packet and utilize the "Union/Guilds" Viewing Permission to ensure that the SAG contract is only shared with SAG employees, and only the Crew Deal Memo is shared with all other employees.
Within the Builder, select the page(s) of the SAG contract, then set the "Union/Guilds" Viewing Permission to "Only share this page with: SAG-AFTRA":
For the pages of the Deal Memo, set the "Union/Guilds" Viewing Permission to "Hide this page from: SAG-AFTRA":
Once these Viewing Permissions are set, if an employee is Invited to the Project and their Employment Details reflect that the Union/Local # is "SAG-AFTRA," the employee's packet will contain the SAG contract (the Deal Memo will be hidden).
If an employee is Invited to the Project and their Union/Local # is entered as anything other than "SAG-AFTRA," their packet will contain the Deal Memo (and the SAG contract will be hidden).
Can I test the Viewing Permissions to confirm I've set them properly?
Yes, you can test your Viewing Permissions from the "Save and Test" area of the Builder. At the top of the screen, select the Employment Details you want to test and then click "Test View" to see how the packet filters:
