In TiM, a "form" is one type of document, and a "packet" is a collection of forms, ie: a packet contains more than one document.
For example:
- An NDA is a form.
- A Deal Memo is a form.
- The collection of forms that someone needs to complete to be onboarded is a packet.
You can upload and customize your own Company Forms, or pull from dozens of pre-built TiM Templates.
It's easy to assemble forms to create packets, so we always recommend building forms first.
Special Packets are the exception. Based on what you need accomplished, Special Packets could contain a single form or a set of forms. What makes Special Packets special is that they contain a unique set of forms, or a set of forms different from those included in Standard Packets.
