During Sign Up, under Primary Email Address enter the email address used to invite you to TiM. This will establish the connection between your invite and your new account.
Your Primary Email Address is the email address that you will use to log in to your TiM Account. You can always modify your Primary Email Address later from Account Settings.
We recommend setting your Primary Email Address as your personal email address, or an email that you will never lose access to. This will ensure you always receive TiM-related notifications.
- Why this is important: If you set your Primary Email as a production-provided email, or other such temporary email address, and then that email address is de-activated when you move on to freelance on a new Project, you won't be able to receive password reset notifications, or other notifications triggered from TiM.
You can add other email addresses you use as Alternate Email Addresses.
The sole purpose of Alternate Email Addresses is to funnel new Project Invites that might be sent to other email addresses you use, to your existing TiM Account.
Please do not create multiple TiM Accounts (ie: one tied to your personal email and another tied to your production-provided email).
Each person using TiM should have only one TiM Account so Startwork and Projects can be managed via a single login, even if you freelance with different production companies and projects.
If an Invite is sent to the wrong email address, ask production to resend your Invite to an email address connected to your TiM Account.
