The Loanout Status Viewing Permission allows pages of a Startwork Template to show or hide based on whether an employee is indicated as being hired as a Loan-Out.
The Loanout Status Viewing Permission is controlled from Employment Details, by the Loan Out checkbox next to "Select if crewmember is a Loan-Out".
If the checkbox is selected, this indicates that the employee is being hired as a Loan-Out. If the checkbox is not selected, this indicates that the employee is being hired as an individual (not as a Loan-Out).
NOTE: If you are unsure of what hiring a Loan-Out means, please contact your payroll or legal representative.
In the Builder, the Loanout Status Viewing Permission has three options:
- "All" is the default selection, and essentially means no Viewing Permission is applied; the selected pages will be shown to all employees matched to the Template, regardless of Loan Out status.
- "Only Loanout" will ensure that the selected pages will show only to employees who are indicated as being hired as a Loan-Out, ie: the Loan Out checkbox in Employment Details is selected.
- "Only Individuals" will ensure that the selected pages will show only to employees who are indicated as being hired as individuals (not as Loan-Outs), ie: the Loan Out checkbox in Employment Details is not selected.
Important Notes regarding the Loanout Status Viewing Permission:
- The Loanout Status Viewing Permission is only available in the Builder areas for Standard Job Change Packet Templates.
