FYI: Onboarding Minors in TiM

Can I onboard minors in TiM?
TiM does not allow minors (persons under the age of 18) to be onboarded via TiM.

TiM has features to prevent the onboarding of minors in the system. For example, if when completing their Profile, a user enters a Date of Birth that indicates they are less than 18 years of age, TiM will block the user from proceeding. If a user existed in the system prior to the Date of Birth validation feature, TiM will prevent new Invites from being sent to that user.

I already onboarded minors in TiM. What do I do? 
If the Startwork is not already Fully Approved, please delete the minor's record in TiM (click here for instructions), and onboard the minor outside of TiM. If the minor's Startwork is already Fully Approved, there is nothing for production to do. Feel free to contact TiM Support if you have any further questions on this matter.

Why is onboarding minors in TiM not allowed?

Special rules apply for the protection of minors. Like other web-based platforms, due to various complexities TiM may not be used for minors, and they should instead be onboarded outside of TiM. We are working on updating our digital products to support onboarding minors in the future.
