How to sign up for direct deposit can vary from Project to Project, because direct deposit is controlled by a Project's payroll processor*.
Please NOTE: TiM is not a payroll processing service! TiM is a web-based software used to digitally manage Startwork documents.
Therefore, how to register for direct deposit depends on the payroll processing service your Project is using (ie: Cast & Crew, Entertainment Partners, Media Services, etc.).
Some payroll services* have an online portal where employees can log in and sign up for direct deposit (see Pro Tips below).
Other payroll services might not have an online portal, in which case employees will need to request that production share a direct deposit form with them to complete and submit, in order to opt in to direct deposit.
Please reach out to your Production Contact to confirm your Project's payroll service and the best way to register for direct deposit.
* Pro Tips:
- If your Project is processing payroll with Media Services, Cast & Crew, or CAPS, you can go to My Cast & Crew to register for direct deposit. Click here for instructions from the Cast & Crew Help Center on how to register for direct deposit.
- There is a pre-built memo regarding direct deposit for Cast & Crew, Media Services, and CAPS clients. In the builder, look under the category "Payroll Forms", the Template is named "Direct Deposit Memo - Cast & Crew, Media Services, and/or CAPS."

- Please NOTE: Your TiM log in credentials will be the same for My Cast & Crew! (This is because both platforms are in the Cast & Crew family, and both log in portals are powered by the single sign on solution, Okta!)
