TiM is a user-based system, which means that every person who uses TiM should have their own personal TiM Account, which can be connected to multiple Companies and/or Projects.
If you've never used TiM before, you will need to create your own personal TiM Account. See steps below. You will always log in via your personal TiM Account to access any Company Account or Project.
A single TiM log in should not be shared by multiple people.
How to Sign Up for TiM / Create a TiM Account
- Go to https://app.hellotim.com and select "Sign Up".
Pro Tip: You can also go to hellotim.com and select "Log In", then select "Sign Up". - Under "First Name", enter your legal First Name.
- Under "Last Name", enter your legal Last Name.
- Under "Primary Email Address" enter the email address used to invite you to TiM. This will establish the connection between your invite and your new account.
- You can always change your Primary Email Address later from Account Settings.

- Optional: Under "Alternate Email #1 (optional)" and "Alternate Email #2 (optional)", enter any other email addresses that you use. Alternate Email Addresses are optional, but recommended if you use multiple emails.
- Under "Mobile Phone Number", click on the Flag to select your Country, then enter your mobile phone number.
- It is best to use a cell/mobile phone number, ie: a phone number that can receive text messages and that will travel with you from Project to Project. Do not use an office line or shared phone number to sign up for TiM.

- Under "Create a password" enter a password for your TiM Account.
Pro Tip: click the "eye" icon to view your password.
- Click "Sign Up" to complete your Account creation.
- Next you will be prompted to set up your Multifactor Authentication (MFA).
Pro Tip: You only need to set up one MFA factor, you do not need to set up all three!
- After completing MFA set up, you will be prompted to log in using the Primary Email Address and password you just entered.
